Photo How to use the webserver
Hello,
I've got the Popcorn hour A-110 and I would like to know how I can use the webserver.
This is becouse I want to make a website that I can host for my selve.
So it doesn't need to acces any thing in the popcorn hour, just us it as a web server to.
I have a 640 GB HDD in it, so there is enough storage for a website.

All I need to know is how to start the server (for port 80) an where to put the index files. Also I'd like to know what the server supports, like MySQL or php or frontpage.

Thanks in advance,

RE: How to use the webserver
it can run PHP.

I'm not gonna claim to be an expert on this, but i think the webserver on it is really just ment to run websites locally on the machine.

You're gonna find that its kind of quirky in what it can and can't run. For instance, all pages pretty much have to be set up in tables. As it really doesn't respond very well to DIV tags.

take a peek at these 3 pages on some more of its specs...

It should be just a matter of creating a new subfolder in .www/localhost and putting some files there.

Easy way of installing software on your NMT using just your mouse: NMT Community Software Installer

If I do that way, then when for example i enter
Code:
http://192.168.1.2:8080/site1/

it redirectme to
Code:
http://127.0.0.1:8080/site1/

If i acess only http://192.168.1.2:8080/ everything is fine.
Do I need http.conf in every subfolder ?
