Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

Sorry, but as far as I can determine by searching the forum, it appears that the possibility for using scar RGB connection via component+composite outputs has been removed from the A-110 firmware. Is that correct or is there another way to enable this than using the setting menu?

I am running the latest firmware updated online.

Two releases ago SCART mode was gone on A100 when doing online update. When downloading the same release and updating via USB the SCART mode was there. You could try the download version to see if it is the same problem this time.

Just tried downloading the firmware from the web, but scart RGB mode is still not available in the menu. Sad

I do not think there is any technical problems other than us which is still using an old CRT together with a device like this, is a minority. Nevertheless, it would be nice if it was possible.

Is there any other way of controlling the PCH? Perhaps via the lan interface.

Damn, this is such a strong feature that seems to be gone now.

I would be very happy if it would be back for standard.

PCH/Syabas comment "the scart option was removed to avoid confusion" is rather amusing. Maybe they should replace the programmers or the management to people who can handle more than a few options. Otherwise they have very low thoughts about the users. If it is the word SCART that is the problem in Asia and US since it is only used in Europe it would be easy to rename it to RGB so everyone understands it.

Hi all,

In all fairness, the scart definition can be confusing. As far as I know the original specification was composit + RGB. But, I believe a number of variants has been introduced, which supports s-video or component. I do not know if this is the reason why PCH/Syabas has decided to remove the scart option.

However, I for one would be very happy if the option was added again.
