DVI -> HDMI cable question
You can buy a "DVI -> HDMI" cable to attach your computer with your HDMI input on your TV. = Computer DVI out -> TV HDMI in.

So my question is:
Is it possible to use this cable the other way around?
like this: Popcorn HDMI out -> LCD Flatcsreen DVI in.

Attention! Question regarding SAME cable primarilly.
Secondary, give me examples on alternate solutions.

RE: DVI -> HDMI cable question
It definitely does work.

When I received my PCH I needed to transfer a load of files from my Windows PC to the PCH so I plugged it in using USB slave and then plugged a DVI--->HDMI cable between the PCH and my computer's monitor. I could then flick between viewing Windows and the PCH's menu to check things were transferring correctly.

RE: DVI -> HDMI cable question
Doggen - I am sure that you are aware of this but for anyone else tracking this thread remember that DVI cannot carry your audio data. HDMI is a true one-cable solution that will allow you to carry both video and audio to your display. DVI is a video only connection so you will have to get your audio over a separate cable....
