llink is an open source media streamer developed by lundman. It is designed to work with NMT products and features unique functions such as play straight from RAR archives, apart from the common ones like skinning and jukebox display. llink should be possible to run on most platforms such as BSD's, Linux, Solaris, Windows, Mac OSX etc. It is clean and light-weight enough to work well on low powered embedded devices such as a NAS - in fact you can even run in on the NMT itself.
Differences to MyiHome
There are some major differences with the standard streaming application MyiHome. Even though it works over http it can play DVD structures, ISO and IMG file systems, albeit in basic mode without the DVD menu.
llink is very flexible. Apart from the already mentioned customizable skins, it supports custom scripts to be executed via the NMT remote control, multiple instances (switch between jukebox and normal list), integration with index.html (for "static" jukeboxes) and a lot more.
